“And they took him [Paul], and brought him unto Areopagus, saying, May we know what this new doctrine, whereof thou speakest, is…..

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ…..

For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful looking for of judgment….. Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God.

Genesis 3.1-6 & Luke 10.21 – Pride and Salvation

And he [the serpent] said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may [not] eat….. of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden…..

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
